Proverbs 16:1-3

16 People make plans in their minds,
    but the Lord gives them the right words to say.
² You may think that everything you do is right,
    but the Lord knows exactly why you are doing it.
³ Put your plans in front of the Lord,
    so that what you want to do will go well.
